Armenia Television Company

Armenia TV was founded in 1998. First time it was aired on January 13, 1999. From 2001 on broadcasted through a satellite and has its own digital satellite point. In 2002 brought international format of intellectual game What? Where? When?, which is on air till now. In 2002 showed World Football Championship. Starting from 2002 was the first to shoot New Year movies in Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris and London. 2004-2005 signed agreements with Hollywood studios and brought worldwide famous movies to Armenia. Armenia TV was the first one to do investments in the sphere of importing technical equipments like High Definition, later on Red cameras, standing many steps forward by its quality in Armenian TV industry. In 2006 Armenia TV organized a great event in Armenian movie world. The most favorite movies of Hayfilm studio were shown in real colors, best image and sound with restored films.
