Although arquiteg was officially founded by architect Victor M. Villegas in 1991, it is an outgrowth of an architecture practice that has been active in Puerto Rico since 1976--originally as Angel M. Caban Architects and Later as Archicorps. Through its history, the firm has demonstrated its commitment to a higher design standard in projects ranging from cutting edge office environments to historical landmark restorations. Major clients include multinational US and European companies, Puerto Rican government agencies such as the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and the State Department, as well as local small businesses and private individuals
