About UsThe tradition of weaving sarees runs in the family bloodline. The firm was initially started in 1950 by A.R.R.Rangaswami Chettiar, a handloom weaver from Salem district of TN. Later joined by his son A.R.R.Srinivasan, who gave the weaving tradition a paradigm shift and took the manufacturing to a whole new level and began trading in sarees. The family then built their expertise in manufacturing and trading, they effectively lead their saree trading business in the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala, along these lines giving methods for living to more than 400 handloom weavers. In the year 2000, his son Mr.S.Ravichandran took the initiative to venture into the Retail clothing business and consequently set up the retail showroom ARRS SILKS on the 1st of August 2000.
