Artison is on a mission to replace timber and fight climate change. We wish to achieve this target by making World Class Furniture and Pre-Fabricated Houses. The Artison story begins in 1864. Dietrich Brandis, the father of Indian forestry, in 1864 stated that Bambusa bambos is the most suitable replacement for timber. Interestingly, Bambusa bambos is the only species of bamboo that Artison uses. It is the Worlds highest density bamboo. With our mission in mind and belief in Brandis, Artison has built the Worlds 1st Process Engineered Bamboo Board (PEBB) furniture factory in Madhya Pradesh, India and the Worlds 1st Process Engineered Bamboo Board (PEBB) based home. Processed Engineered Bamboo Board (PEBB) is more durable than teak and stronger than steel. Furthermore, it is termite proof, waterproof and fire retardant.
