ArtSpace Charter School

ArtSpace Charter school is a K-8 charter school located in Swannanoa, NC. Utilizing a comprehensive arts curriculum that includes arts education, arts integration and arts exposure, ArtSpace prides itself as a national leader in the arts integration space. ArtSpace has been recognized by the Kennedy Center, the North Carolina Arts Council, and the readers of the Mountain Xpress for its excellence in education through the arts. ArtSpace seeks to foster responsible citizenship through its four pillars - Leadership, Service, Respect and Effort. Throughout the year, students pursue character education alongside their learning in and through the arts. Students in grades K-5 rotate through classes in visual art, music, dance, theatre and physical education throughout their school week.
