Arukereso.hu is a Hungarian market-leading price comparison website operating in further 2 countries including Romania (Compari.ro) and Bulgaria (Pazaruvaj.com). The company was established in 2004 by two individuals. In 2009 the multinational e-commerce company, Allegro Group acquired majority ownership in the firm, which is the Eastern European subsidiary of the South African Naspers media empire. In 2016 the Prague-based Rockaway group bought the Arukereso.hu, the Compari.ro and the Pazaruvaj.com price comparison sites from the Naspers group. Arukereso.hu has come a long way since listing the first few webshops on its site in 2004. Today, when it comes to online shopping, Internet users can choose from thousands of e-shops and from millions of offers on Arukereso.
