ASCE UPRM Student Chapter

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is the oldest national professional engineering society in the United States. Our student chapter at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (UPRM) counts with more than 200 members, making it one of the largest student chapters in the country, and the largest in our Civil Engineering and Surverying Department. The ASCE UPRM chapter prides itself on providing our student members with the best professional development activities available in order to prepare them for future professional success. Among these activities are the ASCE UPRM Companies Night, an annual job fair for our members to gain access to possible internship and job placement opportunities, as well as for its ASCE Professional Boot Camp, which provides a month-long series of professional development seminars ranging from resume development to mock interviews.
