In 2015 we changed the way we worked, we recognised that there was an issue not only with the way apprenticeships were delivered as a whole but the way in which they were perceived by both employers and apprentices alike. Apprenticeships back then were not about teaching new skills knowledge and behaviours to improve and support an apprentice they were essentially box ticking exercises that added little demonstrable value to the employer or the apprentice. We made the decision to no longer offer a range of apprenticeships to employers and learners across a variety of subject areas and decided to create two schools that would focus on two distinct areas; Leadership & Management and Digital Marketing with these schools offering just three qualifications Level 3 CMI and Level 5 CMI in Management and a Level 3 in Digital Marketing.
