Hey everyone! UNSW ASEAN Society was founded in 2018 by a group of students who are keen on establishing the first holistic ASEAN community in UNSW. With the growing population of South East Asian students in UNSW, we believe that there is a demand for something BOLD, NEW AND INVENTIVE. Although each country had excellently uplift their communities through their own social societies, we intended to create a platform for like-minded students from different South East Asian countries to come together and explore their shared culture, tradition and ideologies. We aspire to establish a platform that can bring a fresh outlook on the region as well as providing room for professional growth that tailors towards our culture and tradition!Through our flagship UNSW ASEAN CONFERENCE, we aim to create awareness on the issues happening in South East Asia as well as being the force of aspirational collaboration between Australia and our home countries.
