Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project

Founded in 1995, the Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP) is a 501c (3) nonprofit organization that works to prevent domestic violence in the Asian and Pacific Islander (A/PI) communities in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. DVRP has helped the lives of hundreds of women and families through its direct services advocates program. DVRPs staff, board of directors and volunteers offer a diverse range of cultural competency and language skills including Bengali, Chinese, Filipina, Hmong, Japanese, Korean, Irani, Indian, Nepali, Pakistani, and Vietnamese.
