Founded by former gallerist Greg Armas in 2008 and 2015, Assembly New York & Los Angeles are forward thinking retail environments with an eponymous modern RTW collection for men & women. In addition to our own label, we focus on international and otherwise independent designers who maintain an emphasis on craft and design as an ethos, regardless of trend. Select archival vintage & art dobjet are interwoven through the collections to form modern narratives. Newness and instinct are key elements for Assembly and we are typically first to market with debut designers from around the world & collaborate on select articles exclusive to our shop and site. In 2009 we introduced the his/hers collection Assembly, designed by the founder, the line is rooted in art and discretion, foregoing ornamentation for a more quiet authority with minimal personal details.
