ASYAPORT is constructed as an international transit port (Main Port - Hub Port), according to its installation planning. The worksite infrastructure of the construction located at the Central district of the Province Tekirdag, Barbaros Municipality and the filling activities were initiated on April 2009. Also Asyaport has been started to operation with M/V MSC Tokyo on 1st. July 2015. Asyaport design handling capacity is 2,5 million TEU per year. The terminal will start operation with an initial handling capacity of 1.000.000 TEU per year. Agreement is established with MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) for the handling of 500.000 TEU per year. At this deep sea container terminal, total quay length will be 2010 meters at drafts up to 20 meters.
