Athenian Academy of Technology and the Arts

Athenian Academy of Technology and the Arts is a tuition free public charter school, which opened its doors in August of 2006. Athenian Academy serves grades K 8, with an emphasis on cooperative learning, the arts, and technology. Our school is a place for children to build a love for learning. Our education program focuses on the following: Technology Performing Arts Hands-On Science Character Education Cooperative Learning Reteach & Enrich Program Rigorous Educational Program Athenian Academy utilizes Kagan Cooperative Learning Structures, which encourage every student to be actively engaged in the learning process. Through the use of Kagan structures, students are taught how to learn cooperatively with their peers, while simultaneously required to have individual accountability for their own learning.
