ATZ, S. A. was founded in 1990 with the initial objective of manufacturing high quality tubular latches due to the increasing demand for this type of product, especially by the North American Market. In the earlier years, ATZ started with a yearly production of 40.000 latches, reaching a peak in 2002 of over 2 million. Since then, ATZ has been a company in constant growth, certified by the ISO 9001, manufacturing not only tubular latches, but also dedicating its production to the conception and design of high quality locks that include award winning innovative functions. In 2003 the company initiated the conception and design of a new product line in stainless steel 304, composed of Entry sets, Interior sets (Door Levers), Door Pulls and cabinet Pulls increasing the product offer to meet the demands of the European Market and other markets.
