AUBG Olympics

More than a decade ago the American Football team AUBG Griffins decided to liven up their practices by organizing challenges among the team players. They gained popularity and the challenges evolved into one of the most anticipated events during the spring semester at the American University in Bulgaria. Thus, the idea of the AUBG Olympics club was born. Today, we organize the only all-university sports event, which includes 15 disciplines, played in a competitive atmosphere. The event opens with an on-campus celebration that involves the entire AUBG community, displays various talents and spectacles to recreate the university spirit and to officially open the weekend of the upcoming local Olympiad. During the games, there are refreshments and quality music complementing the excitement on the field.
