MISSION STATEMENT Austin Eye was founded in 1969 when Mitchel Wong, MD began Ophthalmology practice in Austin, Texas. Over the past 55 years, Austin Eye has grown to include 3 Ophthalmologists (Eye Surgeons), 2 Optometrists, a Staff of approximately 60 employees, 2 locations, an Ophthalmology Ambulatory Surgical Center and a State-of-the-Art Laser Vision Correction Center.
