The Australian Army is a versatile and modern fighting force that helps protect the Australian people and national interests as well as providing critical support to communities in need through humanitarian and disaster relief operations around the globe. With more than 40,000 officers and soldiers based at 15 major locations and with 14,000 vehicles and aircraft at its disposal, the Army presents a wide variety of roles from officers focusing on leadership and management to soldiers specialising in specific roles and skills.
