We created Authors Equity because we saw the need for a different kind of publishing model one that puts the author first and offers financial incentives and a publishing experience built around each authors unique vision, needs, and ambitions. These are our Core Principles: Aligned incentives: Our profit-share model rewards authors who want to bet on themselves. Profit participation is also an option for key members of the book team, so were in a position to win together. Bespoke teams: Weve assembled a wide network of creative talent drawn from within and outside the industry. For each project, well work with authors and agents to build the perfect team, tailoring personalities, approaches, and skillsets to each books unique needs.
