A BRIEF HISTORY OF AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT 1971 saw the formation of Equipment International, a company supplying automotive equipment to the wholesale trade exclusively. This company was headed up by Robert Baudinet and Malcolm Dillon. In 1992, Automaster bought Automotive Equipment Company and in 1995 Tarry M & G Automotive was purchased. These companies were put together to form Automotive Equipment International. With well over 5 decades in the automotive equipment industry, AEI is the most dominant player and respected supplier in South Africa.
