Our name, Avant, is derived from the term avant-garde. In the world of art, music, and literature, it is used to describe those who employ new and unique approaches that challenge traditional and established norms. In the world of travel, it describes Avants innovative approach and our willingness to step outside the box to ensure that our clients receive one-of-a-kind travel experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. We combine a team approach with unparalleled customer service, resulting in a formula that truly sets us apart from the competition. Established in 1987 by four determined women, we have expanded to include ten in-house team members, several independent travel advisers, and three hands-on working owners. We operate out of two office locations in Lexington, Kentucky.
