Pioneer in the entertainment business in Argentina, the AVH Group began its activities in 1917, with the opening of its first Theatre House. During the years to come, the Group became the most important theatrical circuit of the country, consolidating a narrow relationship with Hollywood s Major Studios. The Theatrical Business included a merge with Cinemark in the 90s, which ended in 2001. AVH was created in 1984 due to the arrival of the Home Entertainment Business in Argentina; being the first company to introduce the video business in the country. As of today, AVH has been leading the home entertaining market for 28 years, distributing products for Warner Bros, PHEI, Universal and many other independent film distributors and producers. AVH is the only licensee who owns its own replication facility and warehouses.
