Ayr Rugby Club

Ayr RFC was established in 1897 and moved to Millbrae in the historic village of Alloway in 1964. Our mens 1st XV topped the BT Premiership, the highest level of Scottish club rugby, in 2015/16; and Ayr Ladies won the BT Womens National League Division 1 to gain promotion to the Premier League. There is a mens 2nd XV, as well as Millbrae RFC, a de facto 3rd XV, who are BT National Bowl Champions. The Ayrshire Bulls compete in the FOSROC Super 6 and lifted the title in 2021, becoming the first Champions of the tournament. Their matches are broadcast live on Premier Sports, BBC iPlayer & SRU website, with the matches attracting some of the biggest crowds at Millbrae throughout the season. Ayr-Wellington Youth Rugby has boys teams from P1 to under-18s and girls under-15s and under-18s teams, and the U15s, U16s and U18s boys are multi-title winners, with many representing Scotland age groups.
