Bacchanal Special Events

Bacchanal is Columbia universitys largest music event organisation. An entirely student run group , we organise and execute the annual spring concert, as well as smaller on and off campus music programming throughout the year. We exist solely to foster and enhance Columbia spirit and community, though our most popular event is the annual spring concert. Founded in 1964 as Spring Weekend, Bacchanal is an annual celebration of the end of a successful school year. This festival is attended by 3-4 k people (aged 18-22) and brings some of the biggest names in the music industry to perform. Past performers include Kanye West, The chainsmokers,SOPHIE, Tierra Whack and Rina Sawayama. Our most recent lineup consisted of : the headliner Rick Ross , with support from Amaarae, Sarah Kinsley and Maude Latour.
