Backhausdance

Backhausdance is Orange County, Californias critically acclaimed contemporary dance company. Founded in 2003 by Jennifer Backhaus, the company has emerged as a powerful and entertaining voice in the dance world. The repertory is engaging, accessible and innovative, performed by dancers who are dynamic, technical and stunning to watch. The non-profit company exists to perform on world-class stages and directly to the community through outreach and educational programs. Backhausdance has performed in numerous venues throughout California including Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Carpenter Performing Arts Center, Irvine Barclay Theatre, Ford Amphitheatre, Shakespeare Orange County, Alex Theatre, South Coast Repertory, Laguna Dance Festival and others.
