We are one of the largest coach travel and holiday firms in the West. Were also one of the oldest and most established but still very much a family at heart. The Baker Story began in 1889, when Charles Theodore Baker, aged 21, borrowed 25 from his elder brother and set up business in Weston-super-Mare with a pony chair for hire. The business prospered and he was soon able to buy additional horses and cabs, stabling them behind a house at 38 Locking Road - still the firms headquarters today. Years on, we are now one of the largest coach travel and holiday firms in the West. We are also one of the oldest and most established but still essentially a family at heart. Our striking, modern coaches travel millions of miles every year carrying our holiday makers or other private hire clients in comfort and safety. Conforming to modern day rules and regulations involves complex logistics and experienced staff, but we achieve this with a smile on our faces
