In 1981 Wendy LeGardeur opened up her first womens boutique store in a small cottage off of the corner of River Road on Dante Street named Ballins LTD. Little did she know that 40 years later Ballins LTD would grow into seven stores spanning Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Ballins has been a household name in New Orleans when women are considering the latest trends in dress; from what to wear for debutante parties, Mardi Gras balls and special occasions, to their everyday fashion. In addition to Ballins storefront locations, we have also been successful in reaching a strong customer base nationally with their catalog business and have drawn customers from every State in the Country. Our catalog business features exclusive brands led by French fashion designer, Marjorie Perard. Most notably: Amelline, Lilli Sucre and New Orleans Knitwear.
