Bangladesh Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (BDOAA) is the national chapter of International Olympiad for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA), which is a prestigious international scientific Olympiad. Bangladesh Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics has been organized since 2007 in Bangladesh. Previously this selection was conducted by Bangladesh Astronomical Association (BAA). From 2018, BDOAA Committee will conduct the national Olympiad for selecting Bangladesh representative students for IOAA as approved by IOAA central Board. BDOAAs organizing committee is comprised of former IOAA participants and academicians whose aim is to provide a rigorous selection procedure to send Bangladeshi students to the IOAA
