Banksia Foundation

The Banksia Foundation, established in 1989, is a national not-for-profit organisation that promotes sustainability excellence through its Awards program and other associated events. The Banksia Sustainability Awards are regarded as the most prestigious sustainability awards in Australia. Within Australia there are many initiatives and projects taking place making a real difference today and more importantly ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. The Banksia Foundation, through our Award Programs, aims to raise the profile of the current sustainability issues facing Australia and recognise those whose initiatives are an encouragement and an example for others to follow.
