As the worlds largest privately owned pasture seed company, Barenbrug has played an integral role in New Zealands pastoral landscape for over 30 years. As a specialist agri-pasture plant breeding and research company Barenbrug is dedicated to New Zealands agricultural future. We also supply brassica seed, and seed coating, to further serve New Zealand pastoral farming. Founded in 1987 and based on a 224ha research station near Darfield, we are proud to employ 65 dedicated professionals including specialist plant breeders, agronomists, laboratory, microbiology, and seed production team members.
