Barnsley Healthcare Federation CIC

Launched in 2015, Barnsley Healthcare Federation is an NHS provider and not-for-profit Community Interest Company that aims to improve the way primary care is delivered in Barnsley. We manage the Barnsley Primary Care Network (PCN), which is made up of 32 GP practices, and run the iHEART Barnsley out of hours GP service. We also deliver a number of community healthcare services, such as health and wellbeing coaching, social prescribing and first contact physiotherapy, and directly manage BHF GP practices. Our aim is to provide the best care to patients, represent the interests of our GPs and work with partners across the borough and nationally to help address some of the challenges facing the NHS today.
