Base Major Construction

Base Major Construction (Pty) Ltd was registered in 2007 in the Republic of South Africa as MCC17 Construction thereafter changing their name into No.17 Metallurgical Construction (Pty) Ltd. Base Major Construction has 8 fully qualified professionals who are registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa and the South African Council of Quantity Surveyors respectively. Part of our team of engineers are participating on various contracts being done by Base Major Construction, while the rest are standby for new projects we are going to tender on. Over and above this team we have 7 site managers and 19 foremen, both in general building and civil engineering added to which are further teams of electrical and mechanical engineers. Base Major has as its subsidiary, Kobus Devenhage Building & Civil Construction, who are currently involved in the construction of the Upington Referral Hospital, a project estimated at R600 million for completion in 2011.
