In 2011 Yar-Craft joined the Bass Cat family with the Pierces acquiring the line from the Suthers family and extending that tradition, started by Jack Dallman in 1969. Bass Cat Boats still carries on the family tradition with Rick Pierce as President, under the parent company Correct Craft (2015) with over 90 years of manufacturing boats
