BATEKOO

BATEKOO is a platform for entertainment, entrepreneurship and black, peripheral and LGBTI + cultures with a focus on urban youth. Beyond a party, it is a connecting pole between restless young people, who seek to propose counter-hegemonic narratives and social transformations in the Brazilian cultural scene. A 100% black and LGBT company, which was born in 2014 in Salvador as a way to create an affirmative space at night and, with repercussions on social networks, the project expanded to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Recife and Distrito Federal, conquering an annual audience of 150 thousand people, predominantly black, LGBT and from peripheral regions in its events. With national and international expansion, we are increasingly gaining portals and vehicles in the country, such as Folha de S.
