The Townshend family has been a trusted name in the Hawkes Bay Motor Industry for over 60 years. Charlie Townshend, Robs father, was a key figure until his sudden passing in 1987. In 1985, at just 19, Rob Townshend began his career in Motor Vehicle Sales at Townshend Motors. His talent and industry knowledge grew rapidly over the next five years.
