At Bear Family Restaurants (dba McDonalds), we have a long-time commitment to Serving with Significance. Established in Elgin, IL in 1967, we are now spread over 20 communities with 35 restaurant locations. Our culture is one of putting every guest at the center of everything we do. Without our valued guests, we would not be here. Our commitment also extends far beyond the four walls of every restaurant and we are deeply committed to our communities. We are committed to being a socially responsible and engaged member of every community that our restaurants serve. We host dozens of McTeacher nights, provide tens of thousands of dollars back to our local social service agencies, and contribute hundreds of hours of volunteer time each year. The organization has received multiple awards for community service through our Volunteer Program in which we have donated over 10,000 hours since we started the program in 2018.
