In 2012, Nazia Surti began Beauty First as a hand-decorated kiosk in Burlington Mall. Since then, the company has expanded into six full-service spas with around 30 employees across Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Mississauga and Toronto. Beauty First has recently been nominated for a Burlington Chamber of Commerce award for Retai-Wholesale Medium Size Business of the Year. Beauty First was also nominated for the 2017 Readers Choice Awards in the areas of Best Aesthetics and Best Spa.
