Because Music is one of the biggest indie label, based in France. Created in 2005 by Emmanuel de Buretel (ex Virgin Europe & EMI Europe CEO), the label directly gain international success with Amadou & Mariams album Dimanche a Bamako (+500K album sold). Known for its capacity to develop new artist carrier (such as Christine and the Queens, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Justice, Selah Sue, Parcels...), Because Music works with various prestigious labels and artists: Keziah Jones, Catherine Ringer, Manu Chao, Ed Banger Records, Major Lazer, Diplo, Django Django, Metronomy, Moby, Klaxons, London Grammar, JJ Cale... Because Music is also famous for his qualitative work on urban music since day 1: Keny Arkana, Guizmo, Fetty Wap, Lartiste, Marwa Loud, Medine, Booba among others... In little bit more than 10 years, Because Music became one of the biggest indie label with 360 activities (through Because Group) and offices in Paris, London & Los Angeles
