BEDEM Energy Solutions

BEDEM Energy Solutions was established in 2007 in Pancevo under the name BEDEM Prevoz by three successful local entrepreneurs. Their initial idea was to develop a taxi company with all vehicles fueled on CNG and focused on outstanding customer service. Since CNG vehicles had significantly lower fuel costs than competitors vehicles powered by gasoline and diesel engines, the company achieved almost immediate success. Very soon the company built its first gas station in order to secure supplying CNG to their taxi fleet, but also to supply all other CNG fueled vehicles. In time, the owners realized that CNG prospects in Serbian market are much greater than initially thought. More specifically, a lot of prospective large CNG consumers (e.g. the production facilities, hospitals, heating plants, and other big industrial consumers) who needed low-cost energy source were not located anywhere near the gas pipeline.
