Benetivei Udi -

BeNetivei Udi is an Israeli non-profit organization dedicated to advancing societal resilience, promoting equality, and bridging social gaps within Israeli society through national educational and community initiatives. Founded in 1994 by Mordechai and Georgette Elgrably, the organization was established in honor of their son, Udi, a paratrooper and communications officer who lost his life in combat while defending the country in the security zone in Lebanon. The core mission of BeNetivei Udi is to instill the values exemplified by Udi into modern Israeli society. To this end, the organization operates 3 flagship national programs: Nitzanim, Garinei Udi, & Out of the Depths (Mimamakim). Nitzanim, winner of the IDF Chief of Staff Award for Excellence, works to narrow technological, gender, and socioeconomics gaps by training youth (grades 9-12) for service in the IDF elite units and integration in the Israeli high-tech industry.
