Located at One Bergen County Plaza on the 4th Floor, the Bergen County Department of Planning and Engineerings primary mission is to advance the quality of life for residents and businesses within Bergen County through the ongoing assessment of regional planning and transportation needs. The Department is utilizing and developing new information technology to benefit the public and ensuring responsible land use and development within the County while promoting capital infrastructure investments with benefits to our region. The Planning Division consists of the Office of Regional Planning and Transportation, the Office of Development Review, and the Office of Data Resources and Technology. The Division also includes the County Planning Board and coordination of the Construction Board of Appeals.
