Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art

The Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art takes place every two years at different locations in Berlin. Since its first edition in 1998, the Berlin Biennale has made it its mission to create a free space for renowned curators with experimental exhibition and event programs and to present courageous artistic and political positions independent of the interests of the art market. The Berlin Biennale explores international contemporary artistic developments that make the hidden and unknown tangible. Each edition brings together artists, theorists and interested parties from different areas of society and thus opens up a dialog with the citys inhabitants. The 13th Berlin Biennale is curated by Zasha Colah and will take place from June 14 to September 14, 2025.
