Bermuda Zoological Society

The mission of the Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS) is to inspire appreciation and care of island environments through our environmental education, conservation and research programmes. BZS is the support charity for the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo. It funds community outreach projects and public events, award-winning exhibits, world-class animal care, plus top-ranked education, conservation and research programmesall accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA). With the support of 4,000-plus members, BZS is committed to encouraging future generations to become stewards of the natural world. We provide thousands of free educational experiences annually through the BZS Schools Programme, in addition to marine and terrestrial field trips, holiday camps and WILD encounters led by knowledgeable BZS educators.
