Bethany Assembly of God

Located at the crossroads of Main Street and Route 57 in Agawam, Massachusetts, Bethany is easy to find. Founded in 1905 as the Peace Chapel on Armory Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, the name of the church was officially changed to Bethany Assembly of God in 1954. After five building projects and expansions on Armory Street, and continued growth fueling the need for more space, the church moved to its present location in 1982. As God continues to call His children back to Himself, we have found the need to keep pushing out our walls. In 1997 the childrens wing was added to help accommodate our vibrant children and youth departments. To God be the glory for all He has done and is doing here! Throughout the year the church body offers much to the community, such as the Singing Christmas Tree presentation, which has been performed annually since 1974; the Passion Play and Lords Last Supper presentations at Easter; a 50,000 egg Easter Egg Hunt for children of the surrounding co...
