Beyond Benigns mission is to equip educators, scientists, and citizens with the tools to teach and practice green chemistry to achieve a sustainable society. We envision a world where scientists and citizens enter the workforce with the skills to design and choose greener, sustainable technologies that spur the innovation economy. Beyond Benign was co-founded by John Warner, Ph.D. and Amy Cannon, Ph.D. in 2007 as a 501c3 nonprofit to develop and disseminate green chemistry best practices, case studies, curriculum, lab experiments, and outreach activities globally, to science educators, industry, and society at large. Beyond Benign Programs 1-Day, 2-Day, Lead Teacher and Online Teacher Trainings provide K-12 educators with the skills and tools to implement and practice green chemistry in their classrooms.
