Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kannur Kendra

The Kannur Kendra of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was inaugurated by Mr. Justice V.S. Malimath, former Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, in 1986. The Kendra started the Kindergarten classes the same year.The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and has classes from L.K.G to Std XII. It prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination (Std XII).The Schools first batch appeared for the All India Secondary School Examination in 1995. It was in 1997, that the first batch appeared for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination.The School has been maintaining high standards in both the examinations. Founded in 1938 by DR. K.M.
