Bhoomika

Bhoomika is an organization which was founded over a decade ago by Dr. B. P. Rath. The roots of our organization can be traced to when we began restoration and rehabilitation work for the Super Cyclone of 1999. This is where we found our true calling - to help people and bring about meaningful change in their lives. One of the primary goals of the organization is to provide quality eye care to the marginalized, especially to those suffering from cataract-induced blindness. India has been identified as the blind capital of the world with over 30 million people suffering, and the number only continues to grow. Cataract is responsible for approximately 62% of these cases, despite being treatable.
