BIA Innovator Campus

BIA Innovator Campus CLG is a new food innovation and incubator centre located in Athenry, Co Galway. Designed to enhance the strength, sustainability and resilience of our agri-food sector, the campus offers a range of food specific facilities, supports, services and experiences from one central location and is due to open officially in January 2024. The genesis of the BIA Innovator Campus was a 2017 feasibility study commissioned by Galway County Council, Teagasc, Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board, Western Development Commission, Athenry Community Council, SCCUL Enterprises CLG and the Galway Local Enterprise Office. The feasibility study was unambiguous in the need for regional food workspace infrastructure along with a need for a range of technical, innovation and commercial supports.
