We believe that regardless of current circumstance every child has the right to reach their full potential, every child has the right to a bright future, and every child has the right to thrive. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto (BBBST) is a founding member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Federation. For over 100 years, our work has been proven to help break the cycle of poverty, drugs and violence by encouraging healthy lifestyles, furthering education, and accelerating engagement into society for newcomers. We build up the individual to build up their community and create lasting systemic change throughout Toronto, and Canada. Every year we must raise 100% of our operating budget through philanthropic fundraising from the United Way, foundations, corporations, individuals and fundraising events
