Big Yellow Door

BYD was born in 2013 with a small cozy cafe in Delhi Universitys north campus. A project, very close its founders hearts. Udit Khanijow and Shira Goel Khanijow put all their efforts in founding this beautiful place. They spent months discussing every detail, hand-painting the walls, crafting the menu and building a place that would come to be home for so many college students. BYDs aspiration was to be comfortable yet quirky, a place where one could sit and talk for hours while enjoying the best food. It was a shortcut to experiencing life in little French cafes, Bombay canteens, and Greek Bistros. The personal touch that BYD brought to service, drew its audience and soon BYD became the talk of the town.
