Bin Yuan Capital Limited(the Company) is a boutique asset management company in Hong Kong, licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on 17th December 2012 to carry on Type 9 (asset management) regulated activites. It is also registered as investment advisor under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on 17th January 2014. The core team members of Bin Yuan Capital comprises the original team from GE Asset Management (GEAM) led by Ping Zhou. During Pings 17 years tenure at GEAM, most recently as Senior Vice President and Greater China Managing Director, the team managed over US$5bn across three funds GE Emerging Market Strategy, China H Share Strategy, and China A Share Strategy. China H Share Strategy achieved an annualized return of 24% over 8.5 years ending 2010 while China A Share Strategy produced 37% (NB 30% outperformance vs. the benchmark) in cumulative returns since its inception in April 2007.
